Abhi & I have been to LA area many times coz for family, friends and for work! The annual pass to Hollywood Studio is worth every dollar if you can visit it at least 2 times in a year. This was our 2nd time to Hollywood Studio and we enjoyed it as much as the 1st visit. Not to miss would be the Studio Tour, Simpsons. 3D Hong Kong and if I am right the Transformers.
A day can be spent on other LA activities such as "Walk of fame", "Beverly Hills" and "Wax Museum"
After visiting LA for 2 days, we drove down to San Diego for a day and visited the "Sea World" - Probably saw most of the under water / water mammals, animals and amphibians and witnessed some great shows from the dolphins, sea lions, penguins and whales!
A good break of 4 days visiting the two cities and covering a few attractions!
